Congratulations to Terrance Houle for his opening of Don Coyote, a video/musical collaboration with musician Matt Masters performed at the Glenbow Museum in Calgary, AB. This performance will be held at 7:30pm at the Glenbow Conocophillips Theatre, in co-production with the Illingworth Kerr Gallery, the Glenbow Museum, and Sled Island Music Festival. Congratulations to Barry Underwood who was awarded an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award. Congratulations to Terrance Houle for his recent inclusion in the long list for the 2008 Sobey Art Award. This award of $50,000.00 is presented annually to a Canadian artist under the age of 40 who has exhibited within 18 months of their nomination. The short list will be announced May 20th, and the final winner will be announced October 1st, 2008.
