Leslie Bell is a Calgary based abstract painter, installation artist and experimental filmmaker. In 2002 she received her BFA from the Alberta College of Art & Design, and in 2009 completed her MFA in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University, Montreal. Leslie's studio practice is motivated by media experimentation, methodical process and a fascination with the infinite number of ways that forms could be assembled into compositions. Her work can be found in the Colart collection in Montreal, the Canada Council's Art Bank and in numerous collections across Canada and in Germany. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and film festivals across Canada and most recently at the Glenbow Museum.
