Yet another artist who has come up through Skew Gallery's exhibition programing has made there NYC debute in Chelsea and we couldn't be prouder if we tried! From the first time we saw Patrick Lundeen's paintings back when he was a fresh graduate from the Alberta College of Arts and Design  B.F.A. program we instantly new he was an artist worthy of collecting, Lundeen's artistic voice spoke loudly  and distinctively amongst  a sea of artistic voices; his focus and ambition although quiet was clearly visable.

Skew began exhibiting Lundeen's work shortly after he graduated Concordia from the M.F.A program. Over the years Skew has presented Lundeen's work in 2 solo exhibitions Sin Will Find You Out and The Oblique Mystique as well as showcasing his work at  international artfairs Scope Basel in Switzerland and NEXT: An Invitational Artfair Of Emerging Artists, in Chicago Il.  

Lundeen's NYC solo debut  Good For You Son takes place at Mike Weiss Gallery, a main floor Chelsea gallery that is known for it's presentation and promotion of strong, visceral, and visionary contemporary art worldwide. This exhibition marks a pivitol point in Lundeen's career, as  exposure in New York's culturally enriched and highly competitve arena brings forth his art to the centre stage of the art world.

This is the second artist that Skew gallery has worked extensively with whose art has caught the eye of  Mike Weiss,  known for his discerning eye for talent.  We are thrilled for Patrick's expanded opportunities  and look forward to recieving new works by him towards the end of the year.
